Invent like a start-up. Invest like a grown-up.

80% of all new business ideas will fail when they hit the market, even though the idea looks very promising in a business case. 80% is a discouraging number if you follow the old path of bringing new products and services to market, but if you are an agile company of the future, you utilize the high failure rate as an innovation advantage.

"Our success at Amazon is a function of how many experiments we do per year, per month, per week, and per day."  Jeff Bezos, Founder and CEO at Amazon.

Amazon has turned innovation into pure math by focusing on doing a vast number of small and cheap experiments to identify which product and service has a market fit and should be pursued.

It is the same business approach that Tim Vang takes point of departure in, and with the tool;  Pretotyping, which is developed from within Google, he has created a highly effective method to pave the way for future commercial success through lots of experiments. Tim now looks forward to sharing it with DABS.
