Since 1986, he has been self-employed and he is also one of the founders of “The initiative to support the meaningful life”. The initiative is an organization supporting young adults between 15 and 30 years with training and a community to build new life skills.

For two decades, he has been practicing zen-Buddhism and he is currently taking a MA in Buddhist Studies. His teachings often blend psychology, philosophy, leadership, and relationships.

Jakob Strømann-Andersen, Innovation & Sustainability Director, and partner, Henning Larsen, is visiting Singapore to conduct the first public workshop on Unboxing Carbon and has agreed to meet with DABS members to talk about decarbonization. 

Cities cover just 3% of the Earth's land but produce over 70% of global CO2 emissions, making the move towards net-zero emissions urgent. In response to this, Singapore aims to achieve net-zero by 2050.
