On the agenda is the very relevant topic - The Future of Energy.
The event will take place as a panel discussion where we get the chance to learn from some of the very best and most inspiring people in the field. Breakfast will be served.
Future of Energy
A major shift is underway in global energy markets. The need to reduce CO2 emission and to drive a transition into sustainable energy during the next decade has with increasing strength over recent years dominated the conversation across the globe and continues to command attention, now also in SE-Asia.
A perfect storm has developed where in the race to tackle climate change, dozens of the world’s biggest economies have adopted targets for net-zero emissions by 2030 - 2050 and are cutting fossil fuels and boosting clean energies. Big investment trends are now pointing to enabling various types of technologies for alternative fuels which are seen as different as Wind Energy, Waste to Energy and Nuclear Power. Meanwhile, carbon prices are soaring, and energy companies are recalibrating their strategies and business models for a net-zero world with a new sense of urgency.
Energy companies today stand at the precipice of a massive transformation and they need to navigate the most disruptive period in modern history, deliver upon their net-zero goals and drive towards a sustainable low carbon energy future.
